Christmas Time!

Its Christmas time! And it isn't Christmas without a tree! And a Christmas village! With a little snow of course. We've had a little bit of snow in rexburg but not too much. We took pictures for our Christmas cards in the snow and they turned out cute.

I want to wish everyone, family and friends, a Merry Christmas. And of course a Happy New Year too! We love you all!

Its been a while....

It has. I know. After thanksgiving ( which was spent in Boise with my family and was lots of fun) we came back to find our internet out. It took like a week or so to finally fix it. We've just been super busy with Mike having finals.

With more exciting news... My sister Brittany had her baby Dec. 2nd in the wee hours of the morning. Macy Claire Schmidt was 7lbs 2oz and is as cute as a button.

I am so excited to be an aunt! I can't wait to see her in a week. Christmas in Washington will be so much fun! But before we get there we are moving. I will put some new pictures of our apartment when we move.

School's Out!

This week was long with classes and work for Mike and Me trying to entertain myself. But we made it through! Twilight came out this week and it was good, for a movie but of course far off from the book. We enjoyed watching it though. We went and saw it yesterday with Scott and Jennie.

After the movie we went shopping! Christmas shopping already? I know, but since we were there and had time we went.

For dinner we went out to Chile's. Yummy! Good food and great company makes for a awesome night! And Mike got free food because he asked for potatoes and they gave him fries. So he got both. This is two out of two for going to dinner in Idaho Falls with the Ostermillers that Mike has gotten free food. Maybe we should go out with them more often! :)

This week of course is Thanksgiving. A time of gratitude. We will spend it in Boise Wednesday through Sunday. It should be a blast!

I'm a Esme! I found out through TwilightersAnonymous.com. Which Twilight Female Are You? Take the quiz and find out!

Take the Quiz and Share Your Results!

So I saw this on CarolAnne's blog and thought it would be fun to try. Suprise Suprise I ended up as Esme. I have been told by quite a few people that is who they are reminded of when they think of me.

And who else would Michael be?

I'm a Carlisle! I found out through TwilightersAnonymous.com. Which Twilight Male Are You? Take the quiz and find out!

Of course he had to be Carlisle. It just fits :D LOL

November

November has come to rexburg and with it cold weather. Snow, rain, and more rain. Mike is busy with school, homework and work. I'm at home trying to stay busy.

This is my most recent project. Its a fall quilt. Its not done yet. I still need to do the back. But I have at least finished the front of it. :D After many times of my sewing machine not working, I fianlly borrowed one from a lady in my ward. I will put another picture up when it is completly done.

Other than that its cleaning an already clean apartment and making food. I did make orange rolls yesterday. They turned out really yummy.

Birthday!

My birthday was a few days ago. I am so grateful to all the people who love me. I got August Rush, a book by Sheri Dew "If Life Were Easy, It Wouldn't Be So Hard" which is amazing!, Anastasia, chocolate and a cute scarecrow decoration, a curling iron, popsicles, lipgloss, and "The Host" by Stephanie Meyer.

I love all the cards that people sent to me. They are all so cute! I appreciate people thinking of me on my birthday and making sure that I know that I am loved.

Cute Decorations

While I was in Boise, Mom helped me make some cute decorations for my apartment. I think they turned out cute and help make it seem more like Fall.

This glass block says GIVE THANKS. The wreath is so cute and can be changed to winter poinsetta so it can be used all year round!

Pumpkins

Lisa and I carved pumpkins while mike was at his concert. And I think they turned out fabulous even if i do say so myself! Lisa's (above) is a haunted house. She has a lot more patience than me. Mine (below) is a very cute face. :) I didn't have the patience to carve something cooler. Such is life!

Mike's Concerts

Thanks to Mom help, I made Mike's costume for the 6 concerts he played. It was the Halloween concert at the college. It turned out amazing. The concerts were also amazing. They played Pirates of the Caribbean and Pirates of Penzance. It was so cool!

Babysitting

This is Isaac. He's one of our friends little boy. We babysat him last week. He was so much fun. He looks excatly like Jack-Jack from the Incredibles. We had a lot of fun babysitting him. It was kind of odd having a baby in the apartment, but it was fun.

I'm still looking for a job but no luck yet. Its really hard to find a job in Rexburg. Mike will be playing in a Halloween concert in two weeks. That will be fun for him. I'm going to try to make him a pirate costume for it. We'll see if it turns out good. I hope it does. :)

Conference

Conference time once again. I love conference weekend. Its so fun to see old friends and get to listen to the Prophet's voice. Lisa, Mike, and I went to Saturday morning session and begged for tickets. We got enough and Lisa got to sit on the plaza level while Mike and I were in the Balcony. Lisa was so excited to be able to see the conference center and go to a session. The boys went off to priesthood and the girls (Jessy, Alli, Camille, Lisa and I) went off to shop. Sunday my parents came to Bells in Layton, where we were staying. So we got to say goodbye before they left and hit the road. Ashley came with them, but heads back to Provo with Kurt. Jessy, Camille, and Alli stayed at Bells with us and it was fun to see them too. We had a blast with lots of different people.

There are more photos on facebook.

We went to the temple last week and it was just beautiful. We didn't make it for a session but we went and did initiatorys. That was a lot of fun. This week has just been Mike busy with work and school. I've been trying to keep myself busy with housework but its not easy. My work has been dumb so I haven't been working lately. But what can you do?

Trying it out

Hey guys. I've been told by several people that Mike and I need a blog, so we are going to try it out. Can't promise to keep up with it but I will try.
